The Bottom Line: If you are looking for one of the best and are on a budget than pick this up on ebay. Got money? Than brand new is cool too.

The Bottom Line: The Passport 8500 x50 provides EXTREME range for the Ka, K, and X-bands; although, avoiding laser detection is inevitable

Pros: Excellent proven detection ability, robust programming options, good looks, great warranty fulfillment
Cons: Easily marred plastic case
The Bottom Line: I recommend this to anybody with a lead foot or bad luck. If cops use speed guns, drivers should be able to detect them.

Pros: Great range over all. EZ progaming, Alerts Loud enough.
Cons: Besides a few false alerts, NONE. Visor mount would be nice.
The Bottom Line: I would recommed the ESCORT 8500 X50 or Bel Rx65 both almost identicle.

Pros: Long detection range, power meter very accurate, great audible alerts, intuitive controls, perfect display.
Cons: SmartCord...why all the bells and whistles? Reviews that include this "feature" are catering to BS.
The Bottom Line: Buy it, price blind. You will be happy.
