Pros: inexpensive, RAW image, many lenses to select, high resolution, 2.5" LCD...
Cons: no built-in IS, user manual is small, included software is almost useless...
The Bottom Line: the amount of money for that much quality => excellent

Pros: You can meter using older Nikon manual focus lenses. Reasonable noise up to ASA 400
Cons: Digital bodies are way too expensive when considering that they are outdated so quickly.
The Bottom Line: Recommend especially if you have older Nikon manual lenses (with aperature ring) that you want to continue using.
