Inexpensive Amateur Telescope, A Good Value

Pros: Decent construction, nice features, and the AutoStar controller is almost intuitive.

Cons: Material construction is cheap (ergo the price). The tripod leg supports are flimsy.

Review: The Meade DS-2130-LNT is a very usable telescope for the serious amateur at a decent price. The construction is a bit on the cheap side but price/value is good. Out of the box (some assembly required) it was easy to setup and get going...didn't even need ...

Pros: It makes you look smart....

Cons: I'd be in serious trouble trying to sell this thing...it's that bad...

The Bottom Line: Wouldn't even give it away for christmas...
