The Infinity Beta 40 also features an improved tweeter that delivers extended high-frequencies out to 40kHz. Perfect for SACD or DVD-Audio recordings. If you can find a pair, grab them!

Pros: Clear, crisp sound, solid construction and good looks.

Cons: You may want a subwoofer for the deepest bass.

Review: The Beta 40's sound great by any standard, and at a clearance price of $400-500 a pair, they are a steal. The sound is utterly transparent, balanced and detailed; even the bass is surprisingly tight and strong considering the size of the woofers. ...

Pros: Price - Sound - Clarity....
