Featuring 1 Gbps throughput per port, Jumbo Frames and sun trunking support, as well as hardware TCP/UDP checksum generation, Sun GigaSwift Ethernet Adapters provide 4 ports of full duplex copper based Ethernet connectivity while using only one PCI-X slot. The resulting high-bandwidth connection is ideal for today's high-performance network applications. Sun Quad GigaSwift Ethernet UTP Adapters comply with existing Ethernet protocols and standards allowing existing core infrastructure application and expertise to be retained when upgrading portions of the network to Gigabit Ethernet technology. This interoperability can preserve your existing core wiring infrastructure, enabling a cost-effective, seamless migration to higher network throughput.
