The products are fine. The flashlight's a little dimmer than I wish it was, but I should know better, having bought a similar product recently. I was unhappy that the website states that I can choose the shipper and still pay the same shipping price. However, when I went to check out (online) the drop down menu only allowed for choosing a different shipper at a higher price (for faster service). I tried their instant messaging service, but the person I was in contact with signed off before completely answering my question. I went ahead with the order because time was running out to take advantage of a sale, but I later contacted Sierra on my own. They responded and explained their position, and offered a remedy for the future, which is acceptable to me. Mainly, I wanted to give them feedback on my dissatisfaction with UPS as a shipper. I certainly can't get them to change their preferred shipper since they obviously have a deal going with UPS, but I still want them to be aware of the quality of service UPS provides. Yes, I have been in contact with UPS multiple times regarding their poor service to my house, to no avail. I will continue to make merchandisers aware of the situation and my desire to avoid UPS. Sierra has done more to make amends than other merchandisers. They obviously want to keep my business, and they will.

The customer reviews are extremely helpful. A shopping "tip" that I'm glad for is the comment sometimes included regarding sizing: "runs small - order 1 size larger than your usual" That sort of thing

I used to be a big fan of STP and recommended them to lots of people over the years. Lately, they have gone from the top of my list to the bottom due to numerous issues like overcharging orders after the fact, discount codes mysteriously vaporizing AFTER being confirmed in order confirmation emails, etc. Probably the straw that broke this camels' back is it seems they now routinely censor the customer product reviews if they are unfavorable on an item- they do not appear. I used to rely on these reviews often when making larger or important purchases where real reviews could make a big difference. <br> <br> I have found their shipping time to have really slowed down, their policies have become inconsistent and the time involved in checking their mistakes and attempting resolution to have become almost unacceptable completely. I also do not think they act within their professed "christian" faith beliefs they so like to spout as the best reason for trusting them. Not Anymore, sadly.
