Hi. I have a question regarding the security alert. I am using Windows ME and whenever I opened a folder, there will be a message popped out, "The file or folder you are opening contains Web content that may be unsafe. The Web content has either been modified or is from an unknown source. Do you want to allow it to be intialized and be accessed by scripts?" Previously, I click Ok. But when I do so, there will be a message in the bar saying "ActiveX Controls can't be unintialized" before my files loads in the folder that I had clicked. After doing so, the message no longer appears.
Recently, I had detected a virus in my comp and I had cleaned it. Then the security alert message appears again. This time round, I clicked cancel and the message box keeps appearing whenever I click on a folder. But the message of "ActiveX Controls can't be unintialized" did not appear this time round. Pls advise on this. Thank you.

Have you updated your anti virus program and ran another scan? Have you ran scandisk and defrag? Also might be a good idea to go to Housecall or Panda Active scan and run a virus scan there. You might want to download Spybot or AdAware and update it and run a scan with it. Donna
