Hi, hope you lot can help me out.

Last night while surfing the net Norton adviced me to Block the "iExplorer" script (think it was that it said). But now I can`t view my yahoo mail like I used to (It does`nt look like it used to) Some sites I cant view at all.

do you mean IEXPLORE SCRIPT .. iexplore is the executable file used to start the internet application. In the internet options you are able to stop scripts running - or at least prompt before running them, I would reccomend allowing Nortons to run iexplore scripts, but then disable scripts in IE, that way Nortons will alow IE to browse, but IE will dis-allow auto scripts on web pages

yepp think thats the one, looked in to the security settings, and it seems ok there disabled scripts in IE as you said.

It seems that I have problems viewing some links, but not all. not sure it relates to topic but... could it be the security settings thats way of? how should they be set?

firstly.. glad its now working..now every person has different settings in internet. but it might help me if you can tell me what web addresses you cant see? it could be a shockwave or java page rather than HTML.. maybe its a secure page.. let me have the URL and I will check for you.

That website "www.vvoc.com" used extensive javascript and they open pages in new windows.

There are a couple possible reasons for your problems with this site. If you are using an older browser it may not support the javascript.

If you have javascript turned off that can be a problem.

Since they open the forum page in a new window there is a chance that one of the "anti-popup" programs might be blocking the page.

In Opera v. 7.11 the page works fine for me.

Consider switching to a new browser.
I like Opera (opera.com)
I also like FireBird (mozilla.org)

I have an idea !! - try this.. goto the site and when you are about to click into the forums page .. hold down the SHIFT and CTRL keys at the same time and while doing that click into the forums page... see if that does it!
