XP reboots when idle?

About two months ago, I rebuilt my computer and did a fresh install of XP Pro. Everything was going fine, but recently, when I leave my computer on at night, usually very late at night and soon after I leave it idle, it randomly reboots. It doesn't do it at the same time every time. I've seen it happen as late as 8 AM and as early as 2 AM. It's always after I leave it for the night.

It also happens on my laptop, which is running XP Home.

Any idea of what could be causing this?

I can't imagine it being my computer overheating because it never happens when I'm actually using the computer.

You could have the msblast virus. Go to task manager and see if msblast.exe is running. If so end task. To prevent it from rebooting get into the dos system and type shutdown -a. Update XP and get the patch.
