hi. my problem is thus
i have W.xp but it has recently been messing up and has now resulted in my search option dispearing..seems like everyday a new thing messes up and disappears.. i ran search and destroy and it came up all black in the search(very bad thing) . and had all this stuff about wrong app paths and file does not exist. i can't restore to a previous date cos i cleared the restore date to make room a few days before. have run a veriety of virus checker's and it comes up clean.
i would much appreaciate anyones help..

boot to you xp cd and choose repair option

I had a prob like this once it was caused by 1 of those boost your internet connection programes they have a habit of doing things like this
