okay...i have this W32_pinfi virus and i want to get it deleated...i have Windows Xp..if i went out and bought windows 98 and installed it, would it take the virus away??

No because you probably wont do a clean install.You left yourself open for the virus with xp what makes you think you wont with 98?
Do you have an upto date virus scanner/definitions. My guess is no. Firewall? maybe not,spybot no eh?, Got Kazaa though huh.

Jordan, have you ever followed the directions for the W32_pinfi virus that have been posted in this forum for you a couple times? That should take care of your virus problem. Donna
