I have a site (http://lollerskates.org/main/news.php) but I can't get to it. Ever since my hosting switched servers it's been unatainable to me. I can get to my Cpanel, but if I try to go to the site using it's IP that doesn't work. My girlfriend logged onto her AOL account at my house through my cable and we can see it through the AOL software, but not the IE software. I can access every other site with no problem, and my friends say they can get to the site through IE no problem. But I can't. I just DLed all the updates I could find but no still no luck. Any ideas why this is happening?
So far I've tried:
Different Broswers (AOL Software Works)
Calling ISP (They said there's nothing wrong with DNS and can access the site)
Asked friends with same ISP (They can access)
Edited host file
Checked to see if I banned my own IP
Shut down Firewall
Pinged
Nothing works

did you create the web site on your PC? and if so what browser did you write it for? If the answer to these questions is yes to Q1 and IE Q2, and you are using IE6 sp1. try this.. open the url (i know it wont view but bear with me!) hold down the CTRL and SHIFT keys on the left of the keyboard and then click on REFRESH (have to all be pressed in that order, donot letgo of the CTRL SHIFT untill the screen has refreshed). see if the url displays now!
