Help Help Win 98 won't start except in Safe mode
Len 07/28/03	I've tried a line by line start up and found that stopping a line C:\PQSC\PROGRAM\PGCPC.VXD allows the PC to start ok. This line is part of a program called Second Chance 2. Can anyone tell me how to disable this line at start up so I can get my PC going till I can sort out the program properly. I believe it can be done in Dos but I can't find out how
Morace Morace_atkins@hotmail.com 07/28/03	Have you tried running msconfig? Start->Run->Msconfig Then you can choose which programs start on windows startup. Its the safest way to stop the program running, and if you make a mistake you can reselect it in safe mode.. Hope this helps..
