hi, i have windows 98 and no cookies in where they are suposed to be. any ideas. my wifes pc has same 98 setup and had cookies then they dissapeared. hacker?

would'nt of thought so, but you can never be certain. If you visit a site now does a new cookie appear in the cookies list? has anyone been tidying up your internet settings and clicked on tools, options, delete cookies ?? unfortunatly when deleting cookies form the tools menu, they do not goto the recycle bin, so if you have, im afrid they have gone.
