Site blocking my IP

My favorite BBB surf has apparently started blocking a wide range of IP's for some reason. I've heard Proxy server can help..But I have no idea what to do to get around with a proxy. Or is there some other way to get back to my beloved BBB???

there are possibly a few things goin on here. Do you use a personnal firewall ? and if so do you have 'hide your IP address' enabled on it ? your ISP may be using a proxy of transparent proxy and if so entering it into your internet settings may be your answer. phone your ISP tech number and ask them if they have a proxy, if so get them to talk you through setting it up on your pc. Also try adding the BBB url into your firewall exclusions addresses, this will lower the firewall protection on that url only.
