Want to move cookies folder
Niki

I want to move my c:\windows\cookies folder from my C partition to my D partition so when we ghost the pc it will retain that data without having to do additional backups. When I go in regedit, it allows me to change the location (HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Explorer\Shell Folders), but as soon as I open IE, it puts the cookies in the C:\ location, not D:\. When I check the registry, it's reset the value. Any recommendations???

Have you tried moving the temporary internet files folder in IE?

Open IE, Choose Tools, Internet Options,
general tab, under temporary internet files choose settings, then move folder. This should allow you to change the folder where Temp internet files and cookies are held.

Is this what you meant?
Hope it helps.
