You've unintentionally done the right thing...now is the perfect time to get a new ISP. AOL's business practices leave alot to be desired. Be certain to phone them and get a service cancellation order number...this is the only thing that will save you when they continue to access your payment source account...in my case, for three months they did not withdraw payment and then for no reason for the next five months attempted to withdraw payment...of the five times they received payment on three and refuse to return the money.
Several of my on-line acquaintences have canceled their AOL service and are thrilled with the way their computers now have little or no "glitches" ie.,those no reason shut downs and disappearing file issues.
If you live in Verizon country their DSL pricing has come down to $34.xx a month with the first month free and offer some pretty attractive bonuses...like MSN8 included.
Sooo..."very bad"...I think>>>NOT<<
