I want to open up a gateway laptop. I have taken out all screws but still won't open what am I missing?

Did you take out the standoffs for the video ports, etc? They're the hex-shaped screws that sit on each side of the video port and parallel ports... Use a pair of needle nose pliers to unscrew if you don't have the proper 6mm socket.
