Help with Yahoo messanger..

My problem is that in yahoo messanger every conversation seems to be saved on the computer as a .dat file.. I would like to open these files and see what conversations were saved but i cant seem to get it to open..If anybody knows how to open the file please let me know.. Thanks

find the file and right click on it. Select 'rename'. if the file name is 'abcd.dat' for instance change it to 'abcd.txt'. You should now be able to read it in a text editor such as notepad.

cant get yahoo messebger to work--keep saying a required.dll file, pcre.dll is needed--please help
