VCD from start to finish

VCD, I want to know how to do it, what process it takes to put it on a CD, and what PROGRAMS do I need to make it all work! For that, i'll die a happy man, until something else comes along and boggles me ;).

I've never burned off a vcd, but it's a mpeg format. I have friends who's burned them off using Nero Burning Rom. As far I know that's the only program you need to do it.

Get TMPGEnc (search on Google) to code ANY video file to the right format of MPG, then use Nero Burning Rom to actually burn it. TMPGEnc is very easy to use, tho it does take a while. Luckily, there's a Shutdown When Done feature, so just start it running before you go to bed, then when you wake up, you'll have a nice VCD format MPG to burn. Just like the Tooth Fairy! Or something
