I've spend days trying to cure this problem that has existed and caused me grief. I did find the cure on this site. Good going guys, but there is one more .dll to remove that one hasn't written about yet >iexplorr24.dll< is another culprit to be unregistered and removed from the windows directory. My fault looked like this..
IEXPLORE caused an invalid page fault in
module MSVBVM60.DLL at 017f:660ee981.

Using the other correction posted by Robo 10 on 03/21/03 at the index marked "Explorer has caused an error in MSVBVM60.dll" on 03/29/03 has corrected my problem 100% and of course removing the above noted .dll

If you are running Win98, you can run the system file checker utility, as I had a boatload of similar errors awhile back. After the system file checker utility ran, it restored about 7 corrupted files, and now everything runs like a charm. Go to Start, Run, type in 'sfc' but do not use the quotes, then OK. The system will scan the hard disk looking for corrupted files. Then it will ask you for your Win98 Install CD so that it can copy the clean files to your Windows subdirectory. However, the files it usually needs are at C:/Windows/Options/Cabs, so you should try this path instead.
