startup problems

I recently tried to install a small audio converter program on my computer. After installation, it asked my to restart my computer. During this restart my computer froze and I had to restart manually (reset button).

I subsequently decided to uninstall the program but to do that I had to reinstall it first because it couln't find some installation log file.

I was able to uninstall the program but now everytime I startup my computer an exlporer window comes up displaying my /WINDOWS folder.

How do I get rid of this startup annoyance?

post back if this isn't the solution.
press start/windows explorer/windows/start menu/programsstartup. Highlight start up and delete any short cut to windows folder.
THIS is a very weird thing to have happened. If this is a result of the program you installed you should state what program it is, I also suspect spyware/trojan. Download and install a program called Spybot search and destroy to cllean out spyware.
If you are a Kazaa user and you got this program thru Kazaa spybot will clean your system and that kazaa malware will not function anymore.
