Desperate help needed please respond

I have bought max payne and medal of honour and when i tried to install them the following error occurred:
Error number: 0X80070725
Description: Incompatible version of the RPC Stub
Then the installation is aborted. Does anyone know what causes this and how i can rectify the problem.
Spec 1.4 gig 128 ram 40 gig harddrive
Runs windows ME

common problen visit the microsoft support website and search for rpc stub patches. may also find solutions at installshield website. Or the website of whoever wrote the game

Get rid of windows ME.. get windows 2000... much more stable than ME or 98... and more compatible as yet than XP...
