Angela angelag@iglide.net 02/17/03	One of my computers had a hacker!! I have talked with a few "experienced" people and they looked at my computer and sait that it definitely needed to be "dumped" "wiped clean" "start new" so my question is...what commands do I have to use? All I can remember about doing it with one of my other computers is the "format C:" command...but that is all I remember. I tried going into my DOS Prompt and type taht in and it says that they had to abort because I had programs still in use. Can you please help me? All I want to do is dump it and start it back up so I can have my good computer back...My Kids computer just isn't cutting it!!
Nike 05/05/03	HELP!! I need commands for "dumping" (fo format c: Use the install cd if it is windows 2000/xp, use floppies for windows nt 4/98/95/3.11. Note. If you use fat32 you can allways use a bootfloppy from windows 98. additional: do not ever try to erase your operating system while it is still running, allways boot first with a floppy disk able to load a basic system.
