My scanner has been wonky lately- error 2117, and not responding- sometimes it will scan, but not save pic. Once it scanned, would only save to a bitmap/not jpeg. I have downloaded a patch, and reinstalled. Any ideas? JP

What brand and model scanner are you using? When you say you downloaded a patch, are you saying you found a patch to fix the error and downloaded and installed it but are still getting the same error?
