Ok, so whenever I do anything (game, scan, spell check!!) The task manager says that the CPU = 100%. Then after about 5-10 minutes an alarm goes off, and its in the computer so turning the sound off does not work. I have tried a lot of stuff, anti-spy, Trojan scan's, RAM checkers etc..(and just now I am checking for viruses)
I do know that this has never happened before XP. I did download Kazaa(BIG mistake) and its gone now, along with the nasty worm it infected my computer with.
This alarm is driving me nuts. Does anyone know how to turn it off/ stop the CPU form being at 100%?
Anti-SpyWare: Ad-aware, yahoo, spybot, etc..
Anti-Virus: AntiVir personal protection
Browser: explorer
Firewall: none
OS: XP
