Device manager indicates that both are connected and working properly..

Ashampoo Recording Suite 4 is installed.

Before I get Ashampoo started I put a CD in the slot and it goes in... BUT approx 3-5 seconds later I hear a ping and find that the CD-ROM has been removed from Device Manager..

If I start up Shampoo and select what I wan't to burn and press 'burn cd' the carriage comes out automatically and the window says no CD so I put one in and the same thing happens.

Can anyone help please.
