While surfing the net,internet explorer will pop up a window stating internet explorer has experienced an error and is shutting down now (with options to see errors, most of the time it involves something about a minidump). Lately explorer has been locking up anytime I click on something that brings up another window (those pesky adds cause the same lockup every time) during these errors I get a box saying explorer is not responding... click here to shut the prg. down.
I have also gotten errors while in WORD that say WORD has encountered an error and is shutting down now. A few months ago I upgraded to XP from M.E. after encountering some simular problems, hoping the upgrade would "fix" this problem. A few times I saw something about a problem with the NVIDIA video card. The keyboard has stopped working a couple of times.
**Sounds to me like I have several different problems. I sure would appricate any help, or someone pointing me in the right direction.**

yes I understand but you mentioned that the page asked you to download somethin. Which games were you trying to play I ask because I understand that some games simply require a java enabled browser maybe other games require more and they're asking you to download the demo or something.

I dont know what it wanted me to download. My friends just told me that it was something that needed to be downloaded because they had to do it to. I have tryed everything and it still wont let me. I turned on all the java things I could and it just wont let me play. It dont matter what game I try and play it still wont let me play the 2nd screen just says done at the bottom. Thats really all I can tell you becuase I used to be able to play and all of a sudden it wont let me play!

I am having similar problems. It all started when I downloaded a demo version of Word Mojo Gold off Yahoo games. The screen froze up and the problem just got worse from there. Eventually, I could not even boot up without the screen freezing up. Have the same NVIDIA video card that Andy mentioned. Uninstalled the display adapter driver and reinstalled, which seemed to help in other applications (SO FAR...), but Yahoo games, even the ones that don't download, just run, still cause the screen to freeze immediately. Could it be a problem between a recent windows update and yahoo games?? Is anyone else having this specific problem?

download and install the latest version of internet explorer 6 sp1. You can go to http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/default.asp.
Once you have done that. Run the internet explorer repair tool. This is how you do that..
(From the Start menu, choose Run.
In the Run window, type rundll32 setupwbv.dll,IE6Maintenance "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\Setup\SETUP.EXE" /g "C:\WINDOWS\IE Uninstall Log.Txt" Note: The command is case-sensitive.
Click the OK button.
Click the Repair Internet Explorer option.
Click the Yes button to complete the repair.
Restart the computer when you are prompted and allow the computer to configure Microsoft Internet Explorer. )

The last information is for windows 2000 and xp. If you do this in win 95/98/me. This is how to do this..
( From the Start menu, select Settings, and then choose Control Panel. The Control Panel window will appear.
Open the Add/Remove Programs icon. The Add/Remove Programs window will appear.
In the lower window, click the Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.x and Internet Tools option or the Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.x and Internet Tools option, and then click the Add/Remove button.
Click the Repair Internet Explorer option and then click the OK button.
Click the Yes button to continue with the repair.
Restart the computer when you are prompted and allow the computer to configure Microsoft Internet Explorer.)

yea, I have been able to play yahoo games before, then it stoped working and I downloaded Java and everything and it still didn't work. I even went to Internet Options and clicked Enable Java and whatever, and now I still can't play...On my friend'd computer she doesn't even have Java and yahoo games works on her compter!
Any ideas?

I have not been able to get into yahoo games all of the way i get signed in and there is a little icon in the top left corner yet for some reason it wont load any further!! My computer has also been having a lot of problems it auto restarts all of the time and i just cant figure it out!! Anyways i am very frusterated with windows and everything else having to do with computers right now!!! Please help me if you can!! I am going insane with this!! Thank You!!!

My Nightmare is that everytime I restart my computer it says Error: Unable to locate system class java/lang/object. I am also not able to play yahoo games anymore or any other game that rely's on java (I think) because everytime I try and play something it says done. I can not even get into chat rooms anymore. It was unclear to me how to update java. HELP ME PLEASE!

Yahoo games don't load
For 2 months now Yahoo games don't load. It says the applet is done but the game rooms don't show up.
I got so desperate, I downloaded Netscape Navigator as my browser and for exactly 12 hours i was able to play the games.
Then the next time I went to play, there was some button in middle of the window that said click here for plugin. No way around it. So i clicked and it downloaded for 9 mins. It downloaded java 1.24.01. but it did absolutely nothing to let me play the games.
Got so bad, i uninstalled netscape and now back to i.e.5.5. i got rid of 1.24.01 patch and back to java 1.24.
Is there only one site for Java. Because I have been to Sun site and their download did not seem to help?

It's kinda backdoor, but I use the Opera download to get my Java. I have never had problems with the install they use. It should be the same as other Java installs, but for some reason I've never had a problem with this one.

Alright, my problem is that some of my pages wont load up. I get an error that says shdoclc.dll/dnserror. I have EVERYTHing to repair..I have tried downloading the update, but something seems to block it from updating. It says that im not logged onto the internet. PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Whilst trying to re-install Office 2000 from a CD copy a receive this message: "Explorer caused an exception 01H in module Kernel32.dll at 017f:bff712c5". I run Windows 98SE and as soon as I place the CD this mesage pops up, Explorer shuts down, I lose the icons in my system tray except the sound icon and the PC freezes.
I already have Office 2000 installed but after I uninstalled a screen saver creator the Office 2000 applications were disabled.
Help please!

I am having the same problem as Tameka. Every time I restart or turn on my computer I get a "unable to find system class:java/lang/object" response. Hey guys this is Genoblade :( I have a little crazzy problem my Internet Expplorer v6 stoped working :(...
I know it has something 2 do with that (incredifind) BHO
++The thing is that I realized that the reazon why my IE was redirecting me to other sites was because of that, and I went to FIND and searched for : *ncredifind*.* and ereased the 2 files that I found a temp file and a folder called BHO containing a DLL file I dont remember the name now :d I know I know that was not reallyyy smart :(
The sad part is that I cant get IE to work again even though I re installed the soft and SP4 (I'm running Win2k)
I can only connect w CAMERA SHY [web browser]
Please help me!

I run windows 98 SE (Bad me... I know) For a while I was experiancing a .dll problem. I just recieved a new DVD/CD Writer for my PC, so I tried to put a new sound card in. (I didn't have a sound card before) Before when I attempted to put in a sound card, it made my computer crash. So I removed it. The new I bought, did the same thing to my computer. I reinstalled the OS. and Then I was getting the windows critical update error... I just removed it. I am attempting to reinstall the OS again.
But, everytime I open ie - I get "Explorer Error"... I run on a LAN. I have a nic card - I made sure all the IP's and subnet, gateway, and all were set, and they are.
What do you do with a consistant error?

Seems like I'm not the only one having problems with yahoo games.We've downloaded java sun and followed all the instructions thatyahoo has sent me and my games still freezes on me.I especially love my mahjong solitaire game and it is just killing me right now because I can't play it.Did any of you find a way to fix this mess ?if you did please email me.

It's only a problem when I want to play games or on some websites with applets, so it isn't a major problem, just a frustrating one when I want to relax.

when i go to play yahoo or P0G0 games will let me get to choose a room but when i choose a room it shuts down the browser i am using. i used to get a little puzzel symbly saying applet not available clich here to get it or something on those lines.when i clich there the icon stays the same but it says clich here when youi have dowlaoded java. i am on a university ethernet i dont know if that has something to do it it but i have down loaded sun jave about three times but that hasnt helped.at one time i had absolutly no problen so i tried a system restore to an earier date but that didnt help.

internet explorer has experienced an error../yahoo
Yahoo games require a java applet to run correctly. You are asked if you want to dload the java applet/plugin for the specific games you want to play..seperate one for say yahoo pool...chess/ etc etc.
these can be found once dloaded if you goto C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files.
Make sure the view setting is set to details and not thumbnails, and you will see the applet under the heading 'program file'. If these are corrupt or installed badly..you will keep having problems each time you try to access the site. Answer is to remove or update the corrupt files pertaining to yahoo games.
The next time you visit the site if you have removed them, should result in the file being dloaded again if you accept, and all should be well again...
