I recently purchased Star Wars: KOTOR and find that it crashes every time I try to start it up. When I run "scan hardware" in the game's configuration section, everything is fine and dandy except for my OpenGL support.

Now, let me just make it very clear that I know *nothing* about graphics cards, drivers, etc. I only just barely have a concept of what OpenGL even is... so bear with me if I wind up asking a silly question.

According to the KOTOR scan, I have got a "S3 Graphics, Incorporated - 1.1 2.40.121"

Also according to the scan, what is required is "Non-Windows Generic OpenGL 1.4.0 drivers."

Now, is there an update or something which I can download to allow me to run the game, or is my epuipment just incompatible?

I went to the S3, Inc. website and downloaded the latest driver, but it didn't make any difference.

I am hoping that the fix for this problem is free and easy, as I am really looking forward to playing the game, but really don't want to have to buy a new graphics card or something.
