Help!
We just got a new computer, all parts individually ordered from Tigerdirect.com.
Used it for a week, then started to get "windows has recovered from a severe" error or something warnings. Sent error reports to Microsoft. Don't know what good that did.
Turned off computer for week's vacation, came home, tried to turn it on, and got message about
ACPI is not compatable....something about BIOS.
Windows won't start in Safe Mode, or any mode. Tried hitting F5, F7, F8...probably all the F's!
Tried changing settings in installation process, but it never gets anywhere.
Tried deleting everything on the computer. Still didn't work.
We, and our two computer geek friends are totally stumped, and our $1600 computer is sitting there, looking pretty, and that's about it!
We're ready to cry!
