Hi everyone, I have a problem which has troubled me for days. I was wondering if you could have a look at it.
I have been trying to get rid of the virus which seems to manifest itself as msbb.exe found in the windows/system32 called w32/Rbot-GC.
My virus software (Sophos) detects but can remove it and I have used a number of other programs such as hijackthis, adaware and spybot.
I have also removed it manually from the registry but it eventually comes back, and deleted the file in safe mode. It seems that nothing will remove this file!
It also takes 98-100% of my CPU usage, so my computer is running very slow!
Anyway, if anyone could give me some advice I would be really grateful.
