Office Update problem

I'm trying to update my MS Office 2000 Pro. I downloaded the 'o2ksr1a' file & followed the instructions to install the update. It runs for about 5-10 seconds then I get this message: 'MS Office 2000 SR-1 Update could not download the Office 2000 SR-1 Core Update.' I am downloading directly from Microsoft's Update section. Does anyone know what's wrong?
