Hello everyone I just have a question or two before i do a full reformat. My daughters computer has so many things wrong with it i don't know where to begin. Let me start by saying things are slow and messed up, she is unable to defrag or any other maintenance or any other pc doctoring because all the links are gone i mean dissaperead....invisible out of there, where did they go? She has not been able to run explorer for months now and has lost her sound card. There is no specific messages that tell me where to start looking. I managed to get her graphics straigtened out after a month or two of looking. Turns out it was in msconfig at the selective start up process, we found that one finally. By the way this is a win 98 o/s and she has virus and spyware protection because i put them on there, she runs them weekly as i have instructed her to do so, therefore leaving her at no fault. the cd-rom still works and she is able to play games through that process. I don't even no where to start looking for a fix for this any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You
