thought i had my virus software configured to auto-run once daily minimal and once a week full check. needless to say, something happened. 'puter started acting funny, so i ran manual check and found a trojan (Win32:Trojan-gen.) repair was not an option and since the files involved (3) appeared to be spyware, i sent them to virus chest. (files are: SYS%\180Solutions\FLEOK\msbb.exe, 180Solutions\msbb.exe_tobedeleted, and udpmod.dll.) after getting rid of files, i rebooted and since cannot access the E homepage. when i click on it, it flashes on screen and then disappears. another problem i notice is the same as another post where the adobe acrobat flashes up and disappears without providing the document. otherwise, i can still access the internet- the dial-up connection still works, and lucky for me i mainly use aol for mail and surfing via my dial up isp, however, i do have some things bookmarked on the desktop and it is an annoyance that i can no longer access my home page from my desktop. also- not terribly familiar with the 2k yet (i'm behind the times- used to 98) and can't find my way around like i would like, but looking in the regedit i don't see anything untoward. not sure what i need to do to restore system to where it was before. i have no sys disc- bought this piece of junk from 'one of those places' but i did have the presence of mind to make an emergency back-up before i ventured online. any help greatly appreciated. not terribly proficient in computerese, but willing to learn. thanks in advance.
