I recently gave up on fixing my old computer, bought a brand new one, transferred some old files from one to the other, and sure enough... the same old problem is starting to happen again. I just don't get it and don't know what else to do. I am hoping that maybe someone will recognize something in this log file so that I might fix what is causing my mouse to come to a screeching halt. I boot up fine, start doing my business, and then sooner or later, it starts to get as slow as molasses, sometimes even grinding to a complete stop.
One interesting thing, I also just purchased AdAwarePlus and every time I try to scan, it goes for a while and then stops. No error message, no nothing, just freezes and I have to reboot. I've checked the log file to see if there is any error message in there, but there is none. Any idea why it won't work on my machine? I usually run SpyBot first, then reboot, then run AdAware, then that program stops, and I have to reboot again.
