I'm pretty sure that FSG_3202.exe is spyware.

Click start--run--type msconfig--ok.

Open the startup tab and uncheck FSG_3202.exe.

You don't need it.

A good spyware program will probably pick it up.

Try Adaware.

I got it myself. I had my firewall turned of and installed imesh to see what it was.
immediatlly after that I scanned my computer with ad-aware and 39 (!!) new items popped up. spyware/adware all over the place.
Now fsg_3202.exe has one TCP connection and one UDP connection running that I can not even terminate using my firewall tight now. I have to reboot, but can't due to a download.
BEWARE of such programs!!!

Duh...

I am using W2K.. if you have it running, run the task manager and end-process FSG_3202.exe, all connection are deleted. then immediatelly run ad-aware!

Hi Mike
Have you tried running ad-aware in Safe Mode?
I do not use any programme that uses spyware so cannot test it myself.

It's Trickler.exe and you can push Ctrl ,Alt and Del. You'll see FSG_3202 is running ,push "end task" (I'm dutch so I don't know exactly what it's called in English) and remove the program (from windows system ,in my case),which is now possible. Adaware didn't find it by the way.

Be careful with Ad-aware guys. It hasn't been updated for a long time and is no longer supported by Lavasoft I hear. It is based on an old kernel and Lavasoft are writing a new kernel which will appear as version 6 in January or february. In the meantime the gurus on www.tomcoyote.com are recommending SpybotS&D

I have ad-aware 5.83 and I installed SpybotS&D and indeed it spotted a helluva lot more that ad-aware.

Agreed, Spybot S&D was much more complete, and found things that ad aware couldn't / didn't

I'd recommend setting your firewall to block all access to or from fsg_3202. Using Win2K Adv. Server here, and my firewall caught it trying to connect out to 64.94.89.221. Doing a DNS on that IP, it runs out it was trying to connect to gs.gator.com.89.94.64.in-addr.arpa.
That part kinda spooked me, as ARPA domains were/are a military network.

I had fsg_3202 on my system since i installed imesh. I deleted the files starting with fsg_3202 in my windows/system directory. Then i used regedit en removed all keys referring to fsg_3202 (and trickler too). Now it's gone.

AdAware recently released version 6.0 which is written in the new kernel. It also appears to have an update system a la Norton or McAfee. It picked up things that the previous versions written for Win9x did not...

Removed FSG_3202.exe and looked for it in the registry using regedit... all gone... Ad-Aware 6 seems to have trouble finding it...
