I had (?) cool web infiltrate my computer but I think I got rid of it using cw shredder.
However there is definitely some residue.
I'm getting a xxx shortcut on my desktop. If I delete it I get a message saying "123792.exe" is only a shortcut you'll have to go to the add/remove software utility.
Tried it .......doesn't get rid of it.
My dialler was also being hijacked. This morning I deleted the modem software for "dimn" which is the hijacking dialer (I think)
I keep getting "win86.exe error - has to close" message but I don't know if this is related to the other stuff or not.
