Are the following Hitachi LCD panels identical:
LMG9980ZWCC-01 and LMG9980ZWCC-02. Does the 01 and 02 suffix indicate a difference in production or release dates, or does it specify something technically different about the two parts, such as location of connectors, etc. on the LCD itself. I have the 02 part in my Compaq Presario 1622 laptop, and it needs to be replaced, so the correct answer to this question would be most helpful and appreciated.

Good try, Junker, but there are only a few part numbers on that list. Does anyone else know of a cross reference list for lcd's - besides the one at glorycomputers.com, which is the best one I've ever seen. Always looking for another one so I can cross-check the accuracy, since most places will not accept a return if you got the wrong number and then ordered the wrong part.
