IE window sizing?
Spanky

06/18/04
Whenever I click a link with target="new" the new window will be extremely small.

Not to be nitpicky, but it's a bit of a pain in the ass to have to click maximize all the time.

Before I reformatted, new windows would be just slightly smaller than maximized, which I can deal with.

I know that if you hold down shift while closing an IE window, the next time you open a brand new window, it will be that size. That doesn't appear to work with target="new" links.

I had been under the impression that if you manually drag all four sides out to the desired size, and then close the window, the next new window which pops up will be that size, but it doesn't appear to work at the moment.

So, after all that, my question is:

Is there some option that I can check which will make all new windows open to their maximum size, provided of course that the link hasn't specified window attributes?
