I have recently run CW Shedder, Spybot and Ad Aware on a Windows XP Professional operating system and the internet now fails to work. When I try to renew IP I get "Local Area Connection: The system can not find the file specified" Also when I try to repair the connection in My Network Places I get the following error: repair operation failed renewing the IP address refeshing all dhcp leases and re-registering DNS names. The Local Area Connection shows as connected, and the same internet connection works fine on two other systems I've tested it on. I tried running Winsock Fix XP and still no luck, also I have downloaded and installed new drivers for the network card. The internet was connecting fine before running the anti-spyware software.
