I'm trying to get a certain character from my windgings font, but it's not any of the regular keys.
I tried looking in my character map for the alt code, but it doesn't display one.
I was wondering if there is a way to use this character without having to copy it from the character map and paste it into my document.
Thank you.

any chance you could tell us what character you want, so we might have chance of telling you if it has a Alt code?

thanks for replying spanky, i have looked on this site http://www.alanwood.net/demos/wingdings.html and it looks like the clock windings chars do not have a equivilant Unicode, so this means that there is no Alt key combination that is associated with them. I am unsure if you are able to create a unicode for a Hex character, to be honest I have never tried. Or maybe you could download one of those 3rd party apps that put the fonts into another application and you can access them from there..just a thought, unless maybe someone else on the forum can help?
