Nothing showing on monitor

when I try to start it the monitor flashes but nothing ever shows up I tried different monitors a pci and agp videocard but nothing works what's wrong with it?

do I understand you correctly? you've swapped video cards and monitors and still nothing appears?. Is there any question marks in hardware configuration indicating a bad driver?
