Since installing a new cordless mouse I find that I cannot open programmes by left clicking (either with the new or old mouse). To open them I have to right click and select 'open'. I use Windows XP.
This is only a problem when I am logged on under my own name. When I log on as other members of the family the programmes can be opened by left clicking as normal. I feel I must have changed some setting although I am sure I did not knowingly do so. Can anyone suggest how I could alter this or exactly what the problem migh be? Thanks
