A smarter.com sidebar opens everytime i search

Everytime I enter anything into Google or go to a new website, a search sidebar from Smarter.com shows up in my browser. How can I get rid of this? Thanks.

sounds like spyware to me get spybot search and destroy and run it to clean out your system. You'll find this program at webattack.com ot download.com tucows any legit download site.

Thanks a lot. I downloaded spybot and it removed quite a few things, including whatever was causing that sidebar to appear.
