Can't download red triangle, blue triangle, green

I'm embarassed to say that I deleted all my temp files and then foolishly emptied my recycle bin. My system then was way off so I decided to do a scanreg/restore and restored it to another time. I forgot I had disabled my system restore (I'm running WINME) so I'm stuck. I was going to download a file recovery program but I cant cuz I get the pretty box with the primary colors! Help!!! Third party downloads is enabled btw.

what do you mean you get box with colors??
1. DO NOT RESTART your computer and turn off virus scanner as it writes to disc continuously.
2. Find a program called PC Inspecter file recovery, try webattack.com first. Its free. You stand a good chance of recovering files if you use the machine minimally.
