WHen using IE, I try to clean my history files as follows:
OPTIONS
TOOLS
CLEAR HISTORY
Sometimes both my address bar history and history files are deleted (the desired effect). Other times only the address bar is cleared.
Any thoughs?

the best thing is to stop using IE move to some other browser like
OPERA:http://www.opera.com/
mozilla:http://www.mozilla.org/
there r anoter browser tha can nd SHOLD replace IE. the IE have ( and wil in the futer anless microsoft will change their policy) many exploites and bugs.
