My computer won't Standby

When i standby my computer it just turns back on right away.
Also in the "History" toolbar it shows the websites in the folders of the days of the week that you have surfed on, but in my History there is no Sunday,Thursday and Friday history items

When I try to put my comp. on Standby, it freezes. Any suggestions?

Yeah, don't do that.
Standby has been a problem prone feature from the get go. Just turn it off, or leave it on.
Generally speaking, Keep it Simple. That is your best bet to avoiding problems.
