noises

Sometimes when I turn on my *new* computer the ???hard disk??? clicks and makes noises like the computer is thinking about something for a VERY long time! I defragged all my drives today. When I turn on the defragger it slows the clicking down. When it finishes the computer is quite quiet. But I can't defrag my computer every time I turn it on!! By the way, I use Kazzalite, maybe all my dl's have something to do with this? I am worried that my computer is working too hard when I am not telling to do anything. Any thoughts? Thanks, Steve

clicking noises are most probably the hard drive. Run diskcheck if you have XP open 'my computer' right click c drive and choose tools/chkdsc have it look for bad sectors also. if you dont have XP then youll find scan disc where you find defragmenter.
Open the case first and see if something like a cable is hitting the fan(s)
