PNCRT.DLL not found. what do i do??

when trying to use my realplayer i get a message which says(a required .DLL file; PNCRT.DLL, was not found
waht do i do?

1. Click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then double-click Add/Remove Programs.
2. On the Windows Setup tab, click Internet Tools, and then click Details.
3. Click to clear the Real Audio Player 4.0 check box, click OK, and then click Apply.
4. On the Windows Setup tab, click Internet Tools, and then click Details.
5. Click to select the Real Audio Player 4.0 check box, click OK, and then click OK.
Restart your computer.

I have an iMac and keep getting an error message that I cannot use Realplayer because "pncrt.dll" can't be found. Since I don't have Windows, and have McIntosh, what do I do? Thansks!!!

for the mac problem, maybe you need to reinstall realplayer. make sure it is the mac version

Ok i have the same problem but what happens to me is that since my friend installed the windows on my comp and i don't have the cd he left a copy of all the files and made a directory under drive c called win98. And well when i try to reinstall the Realplayer it stops at 9 % can anyone help me please email me.

I've gone through the steps suggested to uninstall and reinstall the real audio player 4.0 but in the details under Internet Tools I have no listing for Real Audio Player 4.0. What do I do now?

I try to get on my realplayer and some of the songs I have down loaded on my computer and and it will say DLL>file.PNCRT.DLL was not found.

So would you please tell me how to fixit this.

Actually, Panayiotis has the correct information. However, if you wish to download the dll file, you can do it from here:

http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?pncrt

Move it into your C:/Windows/System folder.

I am having the same problem as katie and when I download the dll file and unzip it I dont know what to open it with.
