eR i have win98 and i got no sound. im runin winamp and it 'shows' that my songs are playing and stuff but theres no sound comin out of my speakers. i got the speakers plugged in right im all the drivers but iono

Jim, double click the little speaker in your system tray (beside the clock). It will open your volumne control panel. Make sure that each item "select" is checked (except for Mute). Make sure the sliders are at least half way up towards the top. In fact the volumne control should probably be all the way to the top. Let me know if this helps.
